Merch the golds for two reasons:
1 - they're not max damage. 2 - the inherents suck. The green has a nice skin but I don't know how much demand there is for it. I wouldn't let it go for anything less than 3k, but I'm not sure precisely what you'd be able to get. EDIT: And the mods on the golds are rubbish too, so don't bother salvaging any of them.
